NEW YEARS EVE 2003 PARTY

Amanda and I hosted a party on December 31, 2002.
We actually expected a small crowd of 4-6, but ended up with 20-30 people over (some party hoppers periodically came and went too) for a great night of food, drink, games, fellowship, and fireworks.

I pasted two pictures together in an attempt to catch (clockwise from left) Rob,
Marion, Sarah, Katie, Rachel, Kelli, Steve, and Amanda (back to the camera)
playing Malarky.
<--Although it's hard to tell because of the camera flash, we were able to
use the PlayStation2 that I got from my brother (thanks again Steve) for
Christmas.
A TOAST!
As midnight approached, we readied our glasses of either champagne or
sparkly white grape juice.

Cary, who was gracious enough to bring an arsenal of explosives and
projectiles (that's toast worthy), and his girlfriend Amanda-->
BALLOONS!
We had about 50 balloons hanging from the ceiling in a big plastic bag for a
midnight balloon drop.
<--It ended up being a balloon flop though when the nails that held the balloon bag to the ceiling fell out when I pulled the rip cord, causing the whole bag to drop without opening.
After opening it manually though, there were plenty of balloons to go around and
something else to laugh about.-->

FIREWORKS!
Even though it was raining, everyone still gathered in the garage to set off fireworks in the driveway and cul-de-sac.

sparks and made lots of noise-->
